Looking for a Seafood Treat? Try Butter-Basted Lobster Tail with Seared Scallops!

Ingredients:
2 lobster tails (6–8 oz each)
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
8 large sea scallops
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 garlic clove, minced
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for garnish)
Directions:

- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or set your grill to medium-high heat. Use kitchen shears to cut along the top shell of each lobster tail, lengthwise. Carefully lift the meat out of the shell and rest it on top. Mix melted butter, garlic, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Generously brush this mixture over the lobster meat.
- For oven: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly golden. For grill: Grill the tails meat-side down for 4–5 minutes, then flip and brush with more butter mixture. Grill for an additional 3–4 minutes.
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add scallops and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until a golden crust forms. In the final minute, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Baste the scallops with the melted garlic butter for extra flavor.
- Arrange the cooked lobster tails and scallops on a plate. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the skillet over the seafood. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges for a bright finish. Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes.
