๐ฆ๐ฅฉ Butter-Seared Lobster and Steak Surf & Turf โจ
Ingredients:
2 lobster tails, halved lengthwise ๐ฆ
2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks (6-8 oz each) ๐ฅฉ
4 tablespoons butter, divided ๐ง
2 cloves garlic, minced ๐ง
Salt and black pepper, to taste ๐ง
Fresh herbs (such as thyme or parsley), for garnish ๐ฟ
Lemon wedges, for serving ๐

Directions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Pat the lobster tails and steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the steaks and lobster halves with salt and black pepper.
Sear the Steaks:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt. Once the butter is hot and slightly browned, sear the steaks for 3โ4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust the time for desired doneness). Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, covered loosely with foil.
Cook the Lobster Tails:
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Place the lobster tails, flesh side down, into the skillet. Cook for 2โ3 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly golden. Flip the tails, baste them with the garlic butter, and cook for another 2โ3 minutes.
Combine and Garnish:
Return the steaks to the skillet to reheat slightly, spooning some of the garlic butter over them. Remove from heat and plate the lobster tails and steaks together.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side. Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
