🍤 Surf and Turf Cajún 🥩
Ingredients:
- 🍤 500 g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 🥩 500 g beef steak (cut into strips)
- 🌶️ 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
- entes 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- – 100 g butter
- 🍋 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- 🌿 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley (chopped)
- 250 250 g of rice (to accompany)
- – Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
- Cooking rice: In a pot, boil 500 ml of water with a pinch of salt. Add the rice and slow cook for about 15-20 minutes or until it’s tender and has absorbed water. Draw from the fire and let it rest.
- Prepare the shrimp: In a bowl, mix the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. Book up.
- Cooking the steak: In a large skillet, melt 50 g of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Remove steak from pan and keep warm.
- Cook the shrimp: In the same pan, add the rest of the butter (50 g) and minced garlic. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant. Then add the shrimp and lemon juice Cook for 3-4 minutes or until shrimp are pink and cooked.
- Mix and Serve: Add the cooked steak back to the pan with the shrimp. Sprinkle with lemon zest and chopped parsley. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
- Presenting: Serve Cajun surf and turf over a bed of white rice. Decorate with a little more fresh parsley and a few lemon slices if you wish.
