Steak & Shrimp with Mushroom Cream Sauce 🥩🦐
A luxurious surf and turf dish with a perfectly seared steak, juicy shrimp, and a rich, velvety mushroom cream sauce—this is a restaurant-quality meal made at home!
Ingredients:
For the Steak & Shrimp:
2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks
10 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Mushroom Cream Sauce:

1 tbsp butter
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1️⃣ Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for preferred doneness). Remove from the pan and let them rest.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp: In the same pan, add a little more butter if needed. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Mushroom Cream Sauce: Melt butter in the same pan. Add mushrooms and sauté until soft. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Pour in beef broth and let it reduce slightly. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
4️⃣ Assemble & Serve: Place the steak on a plate, spoon mushroom cream sauce over the top, and arrange the shrimp around or on top. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes or roasted veggies!
