2 ½ cups powdered sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
1 tbsp butter
✨ Instructions:
1️⃣ Bake the Cake:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch cake pans. Whisk dry ingredients together. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, then mix. Stir in hot coffee (batter will be thin). Divide into pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
2️⃣ Make the Fudge Frosting:
Beat butter, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Add heavy cream and vanilla, beating until creamy and spreadable.
3️⃣ Prepare the Ganache:
Heat heavy cream until warm, pour over chopped chocolate and butter, then stir until smooth and glossy.
4️⃣ Assemble the Cake:
Place one cake layer on a plate. Spread fudge frosting evenly over it. Add the second cake layer and cover with more frosting.
5️⃣ Top with Ganache:
Pour ganache over the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
6️⃣ Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate for 1 hour before slicing. Enjoy the ultimate chocolate indulgence!
💡 Tip: Garnish with chocolate curls, berries, or a dusting of cocoa powder for an elegant finish!
