Decadent Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake

Ingredients:
Chocolate Cake Layer:
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup milk
Dark Chocolate Mousse:
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Milk Chocolate Mousse:
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
White Chocolate Mousse:
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup white chocolate chips
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Toppings:
Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
Directions:
Make the Cake Layer:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool completely.
Prepare the Dark Chocolate Mousse:
Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until warm (do not boil).
Pour over the dark chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Let cool slightly.
Whip the mixture with powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Spread evenly over the cooled cake layer and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Milk Chocolate Mousse:
Repeat the same process using milk chocolate chips.
Spread the milk chocolate mousse over the dark chocolate layer and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
Prepare the White Chocolate Mousse:
Repeat the process using white chocolate chips.
Spread the white chocolate mousse over the milk chocolate layer and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle chocolate shavings or cocoa powder on top before serving.
Slice and enjoy the rich, creamy layers!
