Garlic Parmesan Bread Knots
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped (optional for extra flavor)
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or oregano)
- Salt to taste
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.
Step 2: Shape the Knots
Roll each piece of dough into a ball, then stretch it into a small rope about 6 inches long. Tie each rope into a knot and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Add the minced garlic, grated Parmesan, basil (if using), dried rosemary, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
Step 4: Coat the Knots
Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each knot, making sure each is coated well.
Step 5: Bake
Bake the garlic Parmesan knots for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Once baked, brush with a little more garlic butter, and sprinkle with any remaining Parmesan and fresh basil. Serve warm as a delicious appetizer or side dish.
