A delightful pairing of tender grilled steak and juicy lobster tails, served with a zesty lemon herb butter sauce—perfect for a romantic dinner or special celebration!

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

  • 2 sirloin steaks (or your preferred cut)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary

For the Lobster Tails:

  • 2 lobster tails (6-8 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons melted ghee (or butter)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

For the Lemon Herb Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter or ghee
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup coconut milk (or heavy cream)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

Directions:

1️⃣ Prepare & Cook the Steak:
Rub the steaks with avocado oil, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried rosemary.
Preheat a grill or skillet over high heat.
Cook the steaks for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until your desired level of doneness.
Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving.

2️⃣ Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise and gently pull the meat out slightly.
Brush the lobster meat with melted ghee, lemon zest, paprika, garlic powder, and sea salt.

3️⃣ Grill the Lobster Tails:
Place the lobster tails on a grill or in a hot skillet, shell-side down, and meat-side up.
Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly charred.

4️⃣ Make the Lemon Herb Butter Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt butter or ghee over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Stir in coconut milk (or heavy cream), lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Pecorino Romano cheese.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.

5️⃣ Serve & Garnish:
Plate the grilled steak and lobster tails.
Drizzle the lemon herb butter sauce over both.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately!
