Juicy Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce 🥩🧄
Ingredients
For the Steak:
2 ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8-10 oz each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 teaspoon fresh, chopped)
Salt and pepper, to taste
For Garnish (Optional):
Fresh parsley, chopped
Cracked black pepper
Instructions

Prep the Steak: Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet (preferably cast iron) over medium-high heat. Add steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness). Add butter to the pan in the last minute, spooning it over the steaks. Remove steaks to a plate and let rest.
Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, lower heat to medium. Melt 2 tablespoons butter, then add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Finish the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese and thyme, stirring until the sauce thickens (about 2-3 minutes). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve: Slice steaks (optional) and plate them. Spoon creamy garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley and cracked black pepper if desired. Serve hot with your favorite sides!
