Ingredients:

  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  5. In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  6. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top.
  7. Spread half the ricotta mixture, followed by half the remaining marinara sauce.
  8. Repeat the layers: noodles, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce.
  9. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
