𼊠Cajun Steak & Shrimp with Yellow Rice đ¤
A bold and flavorful surf & turf dish with a spicy kick!
đ Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
12 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 cup yellow rice (or saffron rice)
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp crushed red pepper (optional for heat)
1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
đ˝ď¸ Directions:

1ď¸âŁ Cook the Yellow Rice:
Cook yellow rice according to package instructions. Set aside.
2ď¸âŁ Sear the Steak:
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Season steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Sear for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
3ď¸âŁ Cook the Shrimp:
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter and garlic.
Add shrimp, season with a pinch of Cajun seasoning, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove.
4ď¸âŁ SautĂŠ the Peppers:
In the same pan, add bell peppers and sautĂŠ for 2 minutes until slightly softened.
5ď¸âŁ Assemble & Serve:
Plate the yellow rice, then top with steak, shrimp, and sautĂŠed peppers.
Sprinkle with fresh chives and enjoy!
