1 tablespoon oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ cup vegetable or seafood broth
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dumplings

Make the Dough – In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add warm water and oil, kneading until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Filling – In a bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, garlic powder, chili flakes, black pepper, green onions, and salt. Mix well.
Assemble the Dumplings – Roll out the dough and cut into small circles. Place a spoonful of crab filling in each, fold over, and seal the edges by pressing firmly.

Step 2: Cook the Dumplings

Boil a large pot of water and cook the dumplings for 3-4 minutes, until they float. Drain and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Coconut Curry Sauce

In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute.
Stir in turmeric, curry powder, cumin, and chili flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in coconut milk and broth, stirring well. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Step 4: Combine & Serve

Gently place dumplings into the simmering coconut curry sauce. Let cook for 2-3 minutes so they absorb the flavors.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions.
Serve hot and enjoy!
