Ground Turkey and Sweet Potato Skillet Delight 🍠🦃
Ingredients :
1. 1 lb ground turkey
2. 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes
3. 1 tablespoon olive oil
4. 1 small onion, finely chopped
5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
6. 1 bell pepper, diced
7. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
8. 1 teaspoon ground cumin
9. Salt and black pepper, to taste
10. 1 cup fresh spinach, roughly chopped
11. Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions :

1. Sauté the Aromatics
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
Once hot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking for about 2 to 3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
2. Cook the Sweet Potatoes
Stir in the cubed sweet potatoes, cooking for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they start to soften.
3. Brown the Ground Turkey
Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon or spatula.
Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, until the turkey is fully browned and no pink remains.
4. Season and Add Vegetables
Sprinkle in the smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to coat everything evenly.
Add the diced bell pepper and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until the pepper begins to soften.
5. Add Spinach
Stir in the chopped spinach, cooking for about 2 minutes until it wilts and blends into the dish.
6. Serve and Garnish
Remove the skillet from heat and, if desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
