Peri Peri Chicken

Ingredients:

4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or chicken breasts)
3 tablespoons Peri Peri sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional for extra heat)
Directions:

In a large bowl, mix Peri Peri sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chili flakes.
Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, coating them well with the marinade. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour (overnight for best flavor).
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a grill to medium-high.
If baking, place the chicken on a lined baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, basting with extra sauce halfway through. If grilling, cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, until charred and cooked through.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges or chopped parsley.
