Seared Scallops & Shrimp in Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce 🦐🦪
A luxurious, buttery seafood dish with perfectly seared scallops and shrimp in a rich, creamy sauce!
📝 Ingredients:
For the Seared Scallops & Shrimp:
6 large sea scallops (patted dry)
12 large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken or seafood broth
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
🍽️ Directions:

1️⃣ Sear the Scallops & Shrimp:
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
Season scallops and shrimp with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Sear scallops for 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Sear shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Make the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add heavy cream, broth, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice and return scallops and shrimp to the pan. Cook for another minute to coat in sauce.
3️⃣ Assemble & Serve:
Plate the scallops and shrimp, spooning extra sauce over the top.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
