1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp melted butter

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Cut in Butter:
Add cold butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Add to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
Shape Scones:
Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and shape into a 1-inch thick round. Cut into 8 wedges and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake:
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.
Prepare Glaze:
In a small bowl, mix honey and melted butter. Drizzle over warm scones.
