Galactic Cheesecake with Oreo and Cosmic Drip
Ingredients:
24 oreo cookies
5 tablespoons of melted butter
680 g (24 oz) cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1⁄2 cup thick cream

Instructions:
- Prepare the base: Preheat the oven to 160 °C (325 °F). Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a detachable 23cm (9inch) mold and refrigerate while preparing the filling.
- Make the Filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with the sugar until you get a smooth mixture. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Incorporate vanilla and sour cream until fully integrated.
- Baking: Pour mixture over cookie base and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until center is slightly shaky. Turn off the oven, leave the door open and allow the cheesecake to rest inside for 15 minutes. Then remove and let cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
- Prepare the chocolate drip: Heat the thick cream in a saucepan until it begins to boil in a slow cooker. Remove from fire and pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for a minute then mix until you get a smooth coating.
- Decorate: Pour the chocolate ganache over the cheesecake, letting it drip down the edges to achieve the cosmic effect. Optionally, you can decorate with glowing edible powder or colorful sparks for a more galactic touch.
- Serve and enjoy: Refrigerate a few more minutes for the chocolate to settle and then enjoy this spectacular dessert.
