Homemade Chocolate Cake 🍫
Ingredients:
- 🥣 1 and 3/4 cups (220g) all-purpose flour
- 🍬 1 and 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar
- 🍫 3/4 cup (65g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 🥄 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 🥄 1 and 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 🥚 2 large eggs
- 🥛 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
- 🛢️ 1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil
- 🌼 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 💧 1 cup (240ml) boiling water
- 🧈 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened
- 🍭 3 and 1/2 cups (440g) powdered sugar
- 🍫 1/2 cup (45g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 🥛 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 🌼 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
- 🔥 Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- 🥄 In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 🥚 Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then stir in boiling water (batter will be thin).
- 🍰 Divide batter between pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- ⏳ Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- 🧁 Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa, then milk and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
- 🎂 Once cooled, frost one layer, stack the second, and frost the entire cake. Enjoy!
