Steak in Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce đ„©đŠ
A luxurious surf and turf dish with bold Cajun flavors and a rich, velvety sauce!
Ingredients:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
200g (7 oz) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:
1ïžâŁ Cook the Steaks: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (or longer if desired). Remove from the skillet and let them rest.
2ïžâŁ SautĂ© the Shrimp: In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add shrimp, Cajun seasoning, and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

3ïžâŁ Make the Creamy Cajun Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add the remaining butter, and sautĂ© minced garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in beef broth and let it reduce slightly. Add heavy cream, onion powder, paprika, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
4ïžâŁ Combine & Serve: Return the shrimp to the sauce, stir well, and spoon the mixture over the resting steaks. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
