One-Pot Zesty Steak Pasta

One-Pot Zesty Steak Pasta

Ingredients:
1 lb steak, sliced thin
12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions:

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced steak and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same pot, add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.

Add beef broth, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, and uncooked pasta. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked (about 10-12 minutes).

Return the cooked steak to the pot and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
