Garlic Butter Lobster Tails – Rich, Creamy, and Flavorful
Ingredients:
- 4 lobster tails, shells removed and meat cleaned
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil (or olive oil)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
For the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)

Directions:
- Season the Lobster Tails:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the lobster tails dry with a paper towel and season the lobster meat evenly with smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Heat the avocado oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, sear the lobster tails for 2 minutes on each side until lightly golden brown. Remove the skillet from heat.
- Prepare the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, mustard, and lemon juice. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly and becomes smooth.
- Bake the Lobster Tails:
- Spoon a generous amount of the creamy garlic butter sauce over each lobster tail, ensuring the meat is well-coated.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Serve:
- Once done, drizzle more of the sauce over the lobster tails and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of freshness.
