Garlic Butter Lobster Tails – Rich, Creamy, and Flavorful

Ingredients:

  • 4 lobster tails, shells removed and meat cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil (or olive oil)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Directions:

  1. Season the Lobster Tails:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the lobster tails dry with a paper towel and season the lobster meat evenly with smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
  • Heat the avocado oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, sear the lobster tails for 2 minutes on each side until lightly golden brown. Remove the skillet from heat.
  1. Prepare the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce:
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, mustard, and lemon juice. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly and becomes smooth.
  1. Bake the Lobster Tails:
  • Spoon a generous amount of the creamy garlic butter sauce over each lobster tail, ensuring the meat is well-coated.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  1. Serve:
  • Once done, drizzle more of the sauce over the lobster tails and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  • Serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of freshness.
