Lobster Tails and Seared Scallops in Garlic Butter Elegance 🦞🦐
Transform your dinner into an oceanic feast with this decadent dish of lobster tails and perfectly seared scallops, all enveloped in rich garlic butter! Your taste buds are in for a delightful treat!
Ingredients:
- 6 large sea scallops
- 2 lobster tails, 6-8 oz each
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika, optional for color
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Using kitchen shears, cut a lengthwise slit in the top shell of each lobster tail. Carefully separate the lobster meat from the shell and lay it on top for an eye-catching presentation.
- In a small bowl, combine melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper. Whisk these ingredients together to create a flavorful garlic butter mixture.
- Generously apply the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat. Make sure it is well-coated to enhance the taste during cooking.
- Arrange the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake them in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. The lobster is ready when the meat is opaque and lightly golden.
- While the lobster is baking, pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Add the scallops to the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until a golden-brown crust forms.
- Just before the scallops are done, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Spoon the melted mixture over the scallops to boost their flavor during the final moments of cooking.
- Once the lobster tails are baked and the scallops are perfectly seared, arrange them on a serving plate. Drizzle any leftover garlic butter from the skillet over the seafood, and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges for a zesty finish.
