Instructions:
Preheat oven 🔥: 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.
Make the cake batter 🍰: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk, mixing until just combined.
