Homemade Butter Pecan Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup roasted pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Directions:

- Start by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once it’s melted, stir in the brown sugar until it dissolves completely. Take it off the heat and let it cool for a bit.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Give it a good stir until everything is blended nicely.
- Once your butter and brown sugar mixture has cooled, add it to your cream mixture. Stir well to combine all the flavors together.
- Now for the fun part! Fold in those delicious roasted pecans.
- Pour the whole delicious mixture into your ice cream maker and churn it according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches that dreamy soft serve consistency.
- Transfer your homemade ice cream into a lidded container and let it freeze for at least 4 hours, or until it’s nice and firm.
- Finally, scoop it out, serve it up, and enjoy your creamy, nutty butter pecan ice cream!
