Parmesan Garlic Pizza Rolls recipe

Ingredients:

For the Dough (if making from scratch):
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
¾ cup warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
(Alternatively, use store-bought pizza dough for a quicker option.)

For the Filling:
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

For the Topping:
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Dough (Skip if Using Store-Bought)
In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
Cover and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Assemble the Rolls
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
Roll out the dough into a 12×10-inch rectangle.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
Evenly spread mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly into a log (like a cinnamon roll) and cut it into 1-inch slices.
Arrange rolls in the prepared dish, leaving a little space between them.
Step 3: Bake
Brush the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle more Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Step 4: Finishing Touches
Brush with more butter and garnish with chopped parsley.
Serve warm with marinara sauce or garlic butter dip!
