Steak & Lobster with Velvety Butter Sauce 🥩🦞
A luxurious surf and turf dish featuring perfectly seared steak, succulent lobster, and a rich, buttery sauce—an unforgettable indulgence!
Ingredients:
2 filet mignon steaks (about 200g each)
2 lobster tails, split in half
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter (for cooking steak)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
For the Velvety Butter Sauce:

½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Steak: Season the filet mignon with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or to your desired doneness. Add 2 tbsp butter and garlic in the last minute, spooning the melted butter over the steaks. Remove from heat and let rest.
2️⃣ Cook the Lobster: In the same pan, add the lobster tails, flesh side down. Cook for 2 minutes, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until opaque and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Butter Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring until smooth and thick.
4️⃣ Assemble & Serve: Place the steak on a plate, top with lobster tails, and generously drizzle the velvety butter sauce over both. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
