Creamy Lemon Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over it. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
