Rose Milk Cake ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿฐโœจ

Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour ๐ŸŒพ
  • 1 tsp baking powder ๐Ÿง‚
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda ๐Ÿง‚
  • 1/4 tsp salt ๐Ÿง‚
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted ๐Ÿงˆ
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar ๐Ÿš
  • 1/2 cup yogurt ๐Ÿฅ›
  • 1/2 cup milk ๐Ÿฅ›
  • 1 tbsp rose syrup (Rooh Afza) ๐ŸŒน
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract ๐Ÿฆ

Milk Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup condensed milk ๐Ÿฅ›
  • 1/2 cup whole milk ๐Ÿฅ›
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream ๐Ÿฅ›
  • 1 tbsp rose syrup ๐ŸŒน

Topping:

  • 1 cup whipped cream ๐Ÿฅ›
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios ๐ŸŒฐ
  • 1 tbsp dried rose petals ๐ŸŒน

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a cake pan.
  2. Prepare batter: In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, yogurt, milk, rose syrup, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  3. Bake: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
  4. Prepare milk mixture: Mix condensed milk, whole milk, heavy cream, and rose syrup.
  5. Soak the cake: Poke holes in the cake and pour milk mixture evenly. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  6. Top & serve: Spread whipped cream over the cake, sprinkle pistachios and rose petals. Slice and enjoy!
