Chicken Alfredo Pasta Linguine
Ingredients:
12 oz linguine pasta
1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:
Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and toss with the sauce. Add the cooked linguine pasta and toss to coat everything in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
