Ingredients:

Red Velvet Cake:

1 1/2 cups flour 🌾

1 cup sugar 🍚

1/2 cup butter, softened 🧈

2 eggs 🥚🥚

1/2 cup buttermilk 🥛

1 tbsp cocoa powder 🍫

1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿

1 tsp red food coloring ❤️

1/2 tsp baking soda 🥄

1/2 tsp vinegar 🍶

Cheesecake Layer:

16 oz cream cheese, softened 🧀

3/4 cup sugar 🍚

2 eggs 🥚🥚

1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿

1/2 cup sour cream 🥛

Strawberry Topping:

1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced 🍓

1/4 cup sugar 🍚

1 tbsp lemon juice 🍋

1 tsp cornstarch (optional) 🌽

Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a springform pan.
2️⃣ Prepare the red velvet batter by creaming butter & sugar, then adding eggs, vanilla, and food coloring. Mix in dry ingredients & buttermilk alternately. Stir in vinegar and baking soda last.
3️⃣ Pour batter into the pan, smoothing evenly.
4️⃣ For cheesecake, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream until smooth. Pour over red velvet batter.
5️⃣ Bake for 50-55 minutes until set. Cool completely.
6️⃣ For topping, simmer strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice until soft. Stir in cornstarch if needed to thicken. Cool.
7️⃣ Spread strawberry topping over cheesecake before serving.
